On September 17, as part of the "2024. Year of Kotsiubynskyi" project—celebrated in Vinnytsia to mark the 160th anniversary of Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi's birth—an open-air performance titled "The Train" took place, inspired by the author's works.
In the museum's garden, hundreds of spectators witnessed a vivid adaptation of four stories: The Duel, From the Depths, The Dream, and What is Written in the Book of Life.
Featuring a "star-studded" cast from the Vinnytsia Academic Music and Drama Theater named after M. Sadovskyi, and led by director Oksana Bandura, the audience boarded "The Train." This symbolic journey followed Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi through the images of his own characters as he tirelessly searched for the path to his true self.
*The performance of "The Train" was held as part of the Culture Development Strategy of the Vinnytsia Urban Territorial Community, with the support of the #EU4Culture project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut Ukraine.
