Фестиваль хорового мистецтва

On September 6, the V. I. Hazinskyi Choral Art Festival took place at the Vinnytsia M. D. Leontovych Regional Philharmonic.

The festival program featured works of Ukrainian and foreign classical and spiritual music, as well as arrangements of folk songs and Ukrainian choral music performed by the following ensembles:

Khmelnytskyi Academic Municipal Chamber Choir (Director – Honored Art Worker of Ukraine, Ihor Tsmur);

Vinnytsia Academic City Chamber Choir named after Vitalii Hazinskyi (Director – Khrystyna Bedzir);

National Chamber Ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" (Artistic Director – Dmytro Tkachenko).

This artistic event carried special significance this year, as Vinnytsia and other Ukrainian cities commemorate the fifth anniversary of the passing of Vitalii Hazinskyi—People's Artist of Ukraine, professor, Honorary Citizen of Vinnytsia, and the founder of the Academic City Chamber Choir "Vinnytsia," which now bears his name. This year also marks the 40th anniversary of the choir's founding.

The culmination of the festival was a joint performance of the piece "Prayer for Ukraine," which left a profound impression on all those in attendance. At the conclusion of the event, Oleksii Tsyhankov, First Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, delivered a welcoming speech, expressing gratitude to the ensembles for their performances and high level of professionalism.

The festival was held as part of the Culture Development Strategy of the Vinnytsia Urban Territorial Community, with the support of the #EU4Culture project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut Ukraine.

Organizers: The Department of Culture of the Vinnytsia City Council and the Municipal Institution "Center for Concert and Festival Programs."
